Hi! My name is Shelby Harland

I am a visual artist that specializes in livestock and animal portraits

I grew up showing and raising sheep in Mustang, Oklahoma. My experiences in the livestock industry have made me into who I am today, and being able to portray the most meaningful moments from it is a gift I truly appreciate.

My professional work started with drawing sires - animals whose influence reaches far beyond the show ring. Most recently, I've started including showmen in my works, capturing the moments that matter most.

I love museums. I have to warn every group I'm

I named my cat after a movie character. His
name is Ferris, from Ferris Bueller's Day Off. It
